SPIDAR® SDK

SPIDAR® SDK allows users to control a NOGGIN® or pulseEKKO® GPR system, opening a world of new possibilities

SPIDAR® SDK (Software Development Kit)

SPIDAR® SDK (Software Development Kit) is designed for customers who would like to use GPR but cannot use a GPR with the standard Sensors & Software user interface; they need a GPR system that they can control with their own data acquisition software.

SPIDAR® SDK allows users to control a NOGGIN® or pulseEKKO® GPR system, opening a world of new possibilities. Add GPR to your platform and create a system that can image the subsurface with GPR as it works. Add value to your robot, excavator, mining machine, or any other equipment Create a new imaging device that solves a problem in your industry and introduce it to the world! There are endless possibilities.

The SPIDAR® SDK gives customers the software commands to control a NOGGIN® system or pulseEKKO® Tx-Rx pair. These systems have a range of antenna frequencies for deep penetration, shallow, high resolution, or something in between:

NOGGIN®-based SPIDAR® SDK Systems:

NOGGINs are available with center frequencies of 100, 250, 500 and 1000 MHz (500 shown above). See NOGGIN® Components tab for other frequencies available. See Accessories tab for cables and batteries.

pulseEKKO®-based SPIDAR® SDK Systems:

pulseEKKO® systems have antennas of 12.5, 25, 50, 100, 200, 250, 500 and 1000 MHz (100 MHz shown above). See pulseEKKO® Components tab for other frequencies available. See Accessories tab for cables and batteries.

Case Studies

4-CHANNEL 250 MHz ARRAY | SPIDAR® GPR

SPIDAR® systems network any number of Noggin and pulseEKKO PRO GPR systems together into a single data collection platform and provide maximum flexibility for data collection. While the possibilities are endless, a common deployment is several systems with the same frequency spaced apart laterally to provide a swath of data in a single pass. This allows large areas to be surveyed in a fraction of the time compared to a single system. In this case study, a client needed to map soil variations over a 7.5 hectare (19 acre) field to optimize crop selection.
